At the foot of Kirishima mountains in Kirishima-Yaku national park, located at Maruo hotspring area, rich in natural beauty, legend & myth, and natural discharge. The first small-scale geothermal power plant in Japan utilizing used hotspring well in Kirishima Kokusai Hotel. The separated hot water at separator is utilized for bathing.
