Located at south-eastern part of Yuzawa City, Akita Prefecture, in the center of Sake industry. In the vicinity, Doroyu and Kawarage hot spring areas attract people with its traditional style. This loghouse style power plant matches with surrounding woods, which capacity was increased in 1997.
