The south-most geothermal power plant, located at the southern edge of the Satsuma peninsula. Surrounded by rice field and vegitation area near the coast, wonderful view of Mt. Kaimondake (Satsuma Fuji) can be enjoyed. Famous tourism places such as Nagasakino-hana and Ibusuki are just near by.
